By now, you might have already read the complete report.
It contained what improvements we can expect at IBS in the coming year(s).
In this topic you can share your comments and remarks concerning this isseu.
_____________________________________________
Note the following,
Schedules To improve the schedules within the IBS course, there will be a cut down in the amount of SACĀ]hours listed on the roster. PBL session and lectures will be moved to early morning instead of early/late afternoon. Students will be able to retrieve critical information in the morning and will have enough time to work on their units in the afternoons. Workshops and other activities will planned on early afternoon. Again, this will give the students the information they need to properly finish their units. Note; Workshops will not be given on a daily basis.
It has to be clear that this wont be possible everyday and this will be something that the management will try to work towards

Hi i read your report and it looked really proffesional. But there were somethings in it that were unclear to me. 1. what kind of reward are you talking about? if the student has a positve attitude and suchs. I hope you dont think about a cookie or something like that... <_< 2. the guidence for the first years how the hell are you going to achieve that? who will say they agree on it and are there really enough people to guide 4 classes (1 class 25 people x 4 do the math) some good things i read were the roster changes and the training of the teachers. I hope those guys from the UK can make them in something better... (they really need training.. i mean it). the roster changes seems ok to me. Hope the workshops will be usefull 2

thanks for the compliment, apreciate it as for the reward. We actually thought a cookie would do the trick The reason i was unclear on the reward system is very simlpe. we dont have any specific plan worked out. This is something the new Student Board will have to work out in relation with the students of IBS and its Management. Obviously we are tlking about biggere rewards than cookies. to give you an idea - think about a higher english grade, a day off, it could be virtually anything. well as for the guidence, you have to take into account that these students were following the vmbo (most of them). They are used to sitting in a classroom for a complete day and are complete alien towards our system. So basicly there is no need to tell them what to do, they are used to it. During the guidence period they will be trained to work with our system and then be released into the existing IBS System. This will solve the isseu around not being able to work within IBS. Hope this clarifies
